Cardiff, UK, 18 May 2026, Cardiff-based AI company Cavefish today announced the launch of EchoPitch (echopitch.io), a new platform designed to help people understand how their presentations, interviews, and pitches are emotionally perceived before high-stakes conversations take place.

EchoPitch is the first live application developed by Cavefish, a company focused on measuring emotional risk through artificial intelligence.

The launch follows years of research and practical experience from Cavefish founder and CEO Jonathan Prescott, whose work oncommunication effectiveness began during his MBA studies.

“During my MBA, I became fascinated by why so many businesspresentations are ineffective despite containing strong information. I realisedthat communication success is often driven less by the information itself andmore by emotional credibility, confidence, trust, and how people feel whensomeone is speaking.” Jonathan Prescott, Founder and CEO, Cavefish

That research led Prescott into presentation and communication training, where he worked with some of the UK’s largest organisations, including Marks & Spencer and Barclays, before later embarking on a career in digital technology and artificial intelligence.

“Over time, it became clear that most communication toolsfocus on words, structure, and delivery mechanics, but very few attempt to understand emotional impact. That became the foundation for what we are building at Cavefish.”

Unlike traditional presentation coaching software,EchoPitch focuses on emotional communication analysis, helping users understand how they are likely to be perceived during investor pitches, interviews, leadership presentations, sales conversations, and public speaking engagements.

The platform analyses behavioural and communication signals associated with confidence, trust, emotional credibility, and audience perception.

EchoPitch has been designed for founders, executives, sales professionals, job candidates, and anyone involved in high-pressure communication scenarios.

The launch represents the first public application of Cavefish’s broader vision to help organisations and individuals better understand emotional risk in communication and decision-making.

“Businesses already measure financial risk and operationalrisk extremely well. We believe emotional risk is becoming just as important because human decisions are often emotional before they are logical. EchoPitchis the first real-world example of how that can be measured.”

Cavefish also believes its Welsh roots and participation inthe wider Interceltic Startup Challenge have played an important role in shaping the company’s ambition and direction.

The Interceltic Startup Challenge brought Celtic nations togetherthrough innovation, entrepreneurship, and collaboration, creating opportunitiesfor founders and organisations across Wales, Ireland, Scotland, Brittany,Cornwall, and the Isle of Man to share ideas and build relationships.

For Cavefish, that experience helped galvanise the company’s thinking, strengthen its international outlook, and reinforce the belief that globally significant AI companies can be built from Wales.

“We are incredibly proud to be building Cavefish in Cardiff. The Interceltic Challenge showed what can happen when Celtic nationscome together around innovation and shared ambition. It reinforced our beliefthat Wales can produce globally important technology companies and punch farabove its weight internationally.”

EchoPitch is now live and available globally at: https://echopitch.io
